Sorry if this topic is inappropriate but I wanted to know how you guys deal with the soul-crushing fact that the witches will never be real?

Copious amounts of alcohol and unhealthily large folders of my favorites.

I keep pictures of Shirley on my phone and leave my phone on a picture of her while I do something. It feels like she's there with me, laughing with me, crying with me. I sometimes fantasize about stuff we'd do together. I think about her 24/7. I have dreams about her, one was where she was giving birth to our child. She's so perfect. We have so much in common. I've never loved an anime character as much as her, it hurts.

It generally doesn't get to me unless i'm already feeling down, and all I can think of is how much I want to be with Erica.

Otherwise I'm decently optimistic about it all, trying to go about my days the way she would. I'm pretty convinced that somewhere down the line we'll be together. I honestly don't want her to live in this world anyways; I want to live with her in hers.

If you surround yourself with her, she'll be more genuine to you and look out for you more than most 'real' people would ever.

It's pretty much the same for me, I have that cynic optimism that everything will be alright in the end.
That goes so far that I believe, should I go to heaven, she'll be there.

Right now I had a pretty rough phase, despite things going alright otherwise. I guess it was just the urge to be with her on christmas.

Same with me on wanting to live in their world. But I'd like to still be from my world and tell them how it's like over here. It'd make us interesting to them.

In spirit, every witch has lived. I joined my nation's Air Force in hopes to fly with the best of them. Well, they found a vision deficiency that I wasn't aware of, and I'm stuck on the ground. Lots of alcohol, and a paycheck to buy more alcohol.

Does the multiverse theory work with witches? Like instead of us being the real ones, they are and are in love with us?

I'm not sure how true it is, but I once read something that said shamanistic warriors of the Germanic tribes believed themselves married to valkyries. "Angels of the dead". Probably a more culturally relevant nickname for Erica.

Our dilemmas probably aren't as new as we think they are.

Those who don't have a daki yet and consider buying one, go for it!

It really helped me, there's nothing better than crawling in my bed with her after a long day at work.

A dakimakura is great for mending that desire for a physical connection, but it's not always right for everyone.

If you're the kind of person who spends lots of time half-asleep/half-awake, it really is wonderful though.

If I'm being completely honest, the community keeps me sane. Knowing that I am not alone with this special feeling helps.

I don't know what I'd do if helma died or all witchbros stopped posting in /a/. I'm not very materialistic, so I don't really have any character goods, even though I am a bit of a digital hoarder.
